Higgins Neuk

As part of the Inner Forth Landscape Initiative we assisted the SCAPE Trust by carrying out a ground resistance survey over a large area being investigated as part of the possible site of King James IV’s dockyard at Higgins Neuk, Airth. The four survey areas were on part of two large fields bounded by the Pow Burn and the River Forth. At the same time further coring was being done on the salt flats near the Clackmannan Crossing.
