At Threipmuir this month the removal of the 1 metre baulk revealed a rectangular pit feature cut through the cobbling containing pottery and glass. The more unusual finds were a mouth organ. a large metal clamp or bearing which may have something to do with the Horse Gin and possible fragments of a rotary quern.
