Lecture Programme

The Society organises a lecture programme, once a month, from October until May: attending these lectures is possibly the best way of finding out more about the Society, and meeting with like-minded people. The talks are held in the Film and Cine Club, 23a Fettes Row, Edinburgh, EH3 6RH

    Professor David Breeze will talk about the Roman Fort excavations that took place in the 1970s. His new book, recently published, brings together the story of the fort and its discovery and excavation.

    A walk round the Cammo Estate to acquaint members with the EAFS Cammo Project for the Year of History, Heritage and Archaeology. Meet at the Lodge at 2.00 pm on Sunday the 19th for a tour of the Estate. Also a chance to view the snowdrops in the Walled garden.
